My father's name is Hafiz Issadeen and is a retired principal. He was also an Administrative Service Officer and Science teacher. He worked as a lecturer at the Teachers' training college, Dharga Town which is our home town. At present, my father is active in social services conducting Health awareness programs, specially on Breast Cancer, in the country while he is engaged in photography to pass his free time. I should not miss to mention about his great love for the nature. He is also a writer and publisher. He is the President of PPMD Sri Lanka and one of the highly respected members of the PPMD USA.
He had to retire well before the default retirement age because of the difficulties that I had to face with DMD. He had to take a decision on continuing his profession. Therefore, he decided to be a better father to a son than to be a better principal of a school. My father has gone through various challenges in his life than most of the fathers could not have even imagined. I can't find words to explain his courage and patience.
He is an inspiration to me in my life. I am proud to be his son.
What I wish all in my life is..may Almighty Allaah make my beloved parents' life longer than mine. Aameen.
